Each fund listed here represents an organization that is focused on Catholic, social services and addressing the needs of their community’s health and wellness. These funds have made an investment in improving the lives of those they serve, working to find new approaches to end hunger, shelter the homeless, offer permanent housing and bring opportunities to those who are struggling.

  • Catholic Human Services Charitable Fund

    The Catholic Human Services Charitable Fund is to be utilized to support the various social services, educational services, ministries, programs and organizations of Catholic Human Services (CHS) of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

    Catholic Human Services is the umbrella agency comprising of Catholic Social Services and Nutritional Development Services. It is the area’s largest social service provider and is committed to changing lives with faith-filled compassion. CHS provides help in the areas of housing and homelessness, food insecurity and hunger, services for at-risk youth, senior citizens, individuals with intellectual disabilities, families, single parents, immigrants, and refugees. They help create hope that fosters dignity, independence, and opportunity for adults, children, and families in need.

  • Catholic Medical Association Fund

    The Catholic Medical Association fund supports Catholic medical professionals so they can practice medicine according to their conscience. This support is critical to ensure the current and next generation of families has access to authentically Catholic healthcare. CMA is involved in national/state advocacy as well as the spiritual and educational formation of its members.

  • CFGP’s Women in Philanthropy Leadership Fund

    CFGP’s Women in Philanthropy Leadership Fund provides women with a direct participatory role in identifying the organizations, initiatives and leaders who are making the greatest impact in our community. Donors to the Women in Philanthropy Leadership Fund are offered, on an annual basis, exclusive opportunities to connect with other philanthropic leaders and learn more about the organizations in our community that are doing the most good. Donors at our highest giving levels are offered voting privileges for Women in Philanthropy Leadership Fund grants and awards.

  • Don Guanella and Divine Providence Endowment Fund

    The Don Guanella and Divine Providence Endowment Fund was created to support the Communities of Don Guanella & Divine Providence (DGDP) in perpetuity. These two communities embrace adults with intellectual and physical disabilities and provide them with compassionate care. In partnership with families, employees, and volunteers, DGDP offers a wide range of programming options including Community and Campus-Based Living Arrangements, Life Sharing Through Family Living, In-Home Supports, Respite Care, and Day Programs. This Endowment Fund supports all operations and programs of DGDP, both now and for the future.

  • Emergency Relief Fund

    In response to the Coronavirus Pandemic, CFGP has established the Emergency Relief Fund (ERF) to provide a quick response to the emergency needs of the community within the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. This includes food pantries, vital social service ministries and organizations, and local parishes that are working to address the emergency needs of their community.

    This fund supports organizations engaged in raising awareness, education, etc. related to addiction and recovery from substance abuse disorder. This includes support for addiction recovery among faith leadership and for the education of priests to enable them to help members of their congregations deal with issues related to addiction and recovery.

  • Little Sisters of the Poor, Philadelphia - Holy Family Home Program Fund

    The Little Sisters of the Poor are an international congregation of Roman Catholic women religious founded in 1839 that serves the elderly poor in over 30 countries around the world. In Philadelphia, the Little Sisters operate Holy Family Home, a residential home for seniors that follows the example of their foundress, Saint Jeanne Jugan, offering a family-like place where seniors will experience love and respect. Holy Family Home has three levels of care: independent living apartments for low-income seniors, personal care private rooms, and skilled nursing care private rooms. The Little Sisters of the Poor, Philadelphia - Holy Family Home Program Fund within CFGP supports the mission of the Little Sisters at Holy Family Home and assists seniors in their care.
