ARCHBISHOP’S MINISTRY SUPPORT FUND

The Catholic Foundation of Greater Philadelphia established the Archbishop’s Ministry Support Fund to provide financial assistance to ministries and initiatives identified by Archbishop Nelson J. Pérez as critical to the life of the local Church.

This essential Fund will award grants to organizations and programs across the Archdiocese of Philadelphia that carry out these super priorities with a focus on spiritual and temporal nourishment now and in the future.

“Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, please prayerfully consider supporting the Archbishop’s Ministry Support Fund. This Fund was established not only to sustain existing essential programs but also to enable investment in the future. It will bring vibrant organizations, innovative programs, and vital ministries to our Archdiocese.

This newly established Fund has already created a vehicle of hope for future generations of our faith community by making possible the launch of the Philadelphia Chapter of Young Catholic Professionals and by bringing The Culture Project to Philadelphia. With your help, this is just the beginning. Please consider supporting the Archbishop’s Ministry Support Fund today. Help make the future of our Archdiocese of Philadelphia even brighter.”

Most Reverend Nelson J. Pérez, D.D.
Archbishop of Philadelphia

THE ARCHBISHOP’S MINISTRY SUPPORT FUND awarded a grant that allowed the Young Catholic Professionals (YCP) organization to begin a chapter here in Philadelphia. YCP is the nation’s largest young professional Catholic network, with chapters in 28 cities. This Fund also supported The Culture Project as it sought to establish a strong presence in the Archdiocese. This ministry is committed to formation and prayer within parishes, schools, and religious education programs that seek to form wholesome young men and women of Christian character. The Culture Project offers students an encounter with other young people who are an inspiring witness of virtue.
